Grant Application Guidelines for Other Organizations

The Howard E. Stark Charitable Foundation is focused on funding small, passionate, well-run organizations that relieve suffering by helping people or animals in need.

However, we will carefully review all grant applications, including those from local 501(c)(3) organizations that do not fit within our usual funding parameters.

The organizations we fund typically:

• offer program services in the Northeast US
• have less than $1m assets and limited government funding
• are limited in their fundraising activities
